Not sure what to say?

We got to know Bernie and Eleanor on Friday nights at Har Sinai over the last ten years or so. Bernie was such a great guy- he would regale us with tales about my family that I had never heard before. Like the time he visited my parents in Israel in 1972, or the weddings of my uncles, or just fun stories about old Trenton. He was a great man, and his warmth is already greatly missed by not only the Har Sinai community, but the Kahn family. Best wishes and continued condolences to Eleanor...

Our condolences to Ellie and family. We will miss Rabbi at our study group.

Rabbi and Ellie are dear friends to my Aunt Hannah Eikov – that's how I met them. Hannah, now 97, likes to Skype on my laptop, with her friends far away. Most of the conversations are repetitions of “What's new?” and “Where do you live now?” -But not so with Bernie. We would quickly jump into heated discussions of the latest in politics from local to international. He was always an inspiration and we miss him very much.

Rabbi Bernie married my husband and myself at Fairmount Temple 56 years ago.We truly loved him and Ellie and felt badly when he left our synagogue
He was a kind, loving, sensible person, a darn good Rabbi and we will always remember him.

Met the PERELMUTERS one day 14 yrs ago when my daughters car broke down. They graciously took Amy, baby Emma, and me into their home, fed us and made us feel at home.
My sympathy to dear Ellie, and her family.

A friend who made me feel welcome with his outstretched hand and warm smile these past forty years. God rest him. Good wishes to Ariel from our family. Jim Susan and Michael Ferry.

Our condolences to Ellie and family. We will miss Bernie.

Ariel and Family:
May you continue to have pleasant memories of Rabbi Perelmuter. We always talked of him during our work in Washington DC. May he rest in peace.

Rabbi Perlmutter married Hana and me in August, 19974. Thank you for all the good memories and our deepest condolences to a wonderful person and rabbi.
