It's not mentioned in the obituary that Bernie worked at Pomeroy's store on public square in Wilkes-barre where he was my boss in the late 1960s-early 1970s. He was a great boss...always a fair guy. Greg Phillips.

America thanks you for your service to our country in the defense of freedom. We all are grateful for your stepping up to the plate when your country needed you the most. The final bugle has sounded and taps is about to sound ending a successful career as a nation´s defender. Farewell fellow veteran.
