Not sure what to say?

I'm so sorry to hear about the passing of Professor Rice. I was a student at U.D. but I never took any of his classes. I was an English major. His son, John, was my housemate and a great friend. I got to know Mr. Rice when he and his late wife, Julie, would regularly bring lasagna and salad to our house and also invite us to their home for Easter dinner. To all of the Rice family we send our love, prayers and sympathy. We remember the wonderful days and years on

Ben Rice, my Dad, had 84 years filled with good people, good experiences, and good memories. His spirit lives on through those that knew him.

I first met Ben as a student at UD. Later on the trail as a volksmarcher, t6ravell;ed with Ben and Julie on bus trips to volksmarches, and later as ushers at Schuster/Victoria. A great friend and inspiration!
