To Bernie's Wife and Family:
I first met Bernie at Cathedral High School, and our paths crossed many times when I was at the Courthouse when I was practicing law. I last saw him a few years ago when Stan Solin arranged a luncheon for the Melha 10-12 baseball team, of which he and Stan were members. I played with Stan on the Forest Park Aces, so he invited me, being aware that I knew some of the Melha players. Neil Fieldman was among them.
