Bernie was one of a kind. A true original and a mensch. He had a kind heart, a winning smile, & I loved him. He was a true friend. I'm going to miss his weekly phone calls. I had hoped to visit him once the pandemic passed. I'm heartbroken. You keep a watch over all us nutty people you left here. My heart is with you always. Until we meet again. Miss u terribly.
