Not sure what to say?

I proudly wore Maj. Bernard Talley´s POW bracelet until his release in 1973. Thank you for your service.

Today I found the POW bracelet that I wore for all the years Maj. Talley was missing. Bracelet dated 9-10-66.

I remember Bunny as the Class Commander at Laredo AFB when I was a T-37 IP there. He was a great leader in a great class of pilot trainees. I ran into him again at American Airlines. God Bless him and his family for his great patriotism. I'll look for his grave at Arlington. P.S. I just realized we were born in the same year! Thanks for the great memories!

I did not know Major Talley personally but wore his POW bracelet while in junior high and high school. I am 67 now and will never forget his name. I cried when I saw him get off the plane in 1973. Thanks for your service sir. GBU

Like others, I too wore Col. Talley's bracelet and got to see him walk off of a C-141 on TV; it was a moving experience. I was able to find his address and sent him the bracelet, receiving a nice letter in return. Years later I was able to find his email address and we communicated a bit. Learning that he passed on saddens me. My condolences to his family and friends. RIP Colonel.

I wore your bracelet as a young, 14 year old Navy brat. I was so happy to hear of your release and sent you my bracelet in '73. Much respect, love and eternal peace Maj Talley. As an Army Veteran myself now, I salute you Sir

I knew Bunny at Laredo AFB. Reb Jones was his T-37 IP. I flew with Bunny a few times, he was a good student and a fine young man. I wore his POW bracelet and still have it.

Bunny or Bunzo was part of our pilot trio in USAF Undergraduate Pilot Training. Bunny, Casey and me, all united in working to survive the UPT training program. Bunny discovered a rustic cabin 30 miles east of Laredo, so the 3 of us rented it for a getaway and held dance parties, fired revolvers, and enjoyed the beer. We were graded on flying skills, but also Officer qualities, so just to cover... what happened at the cabin, stayed at the cabin. Like Bunny, I was flying missions over North...

I still have my bracelet. I remember watching him walk off the plane when he returned to the USA. Thank you for serving and protecting our country. GBU. Judith Turlington
