Not sure what to say?

Best friend and funniest guy ever!!!

Dear Marge, Bernie, and Susan: Although its been many years since the "Lunch Bunch" sat on those three barstools closest to the kitchen, the memories are as if they happened yesterday. I cannot say enough about Bernie (and his picture of the guy playing clarinet that hung by the back door), except to say I love you, thank you for who you were, and God Bless You. Stay well Marge. Love your friend/waitress, Valerie

I rember when my baby brother passed away,I was having a hard time being around my family, i walked in to bernies and was welcome with open arms, thank you for being there when i needed to just let go, and i will allways rember that even though you didnt know me you where a kind spirted man, thank you bernie and rest in peice, you will be rememberd

Fond memories of Bernie, ringing the bell at the bar, he was such a jolly, good guy and very well respected. Our deepest sympathy to the whole family. Rest in Peace Bernie. Brian and I started dating at Bernie's as well, and are now together 20 years.

Marge and Family, I was saddened to hear the passing of Bernie. He was always bigger than life when he would visit us. I know he is at peace. Also, I just want to tell you how much it meant to all of us in Barberton that you would come here for celebrations over the years. You impacted all of our lives. May God Bless you and your family.

Marge,
I am so sorry to here of Bernie's passing. You guys were like a second family to me. I can't believe it's over 20 years since I left the 'lunch bunch'. I'll miss him dearly.

Marge and family,
Sorry to hear of Bernie's passing. Had some great times at the ole Hillside Lounge.

Dear Uncle Bernie, I know that now you are at peace and have regained your ability to remember times that have past. I remember going with Nonny and Poppy to watch you bowl in tournaments at Idle Hour. You will be missed.

Love,
Mandy Wallace-McHugh and family

Love you Bernie~ Heather and Paul Nelson(we started dating at Bernies in 1989, we have been married now for 19yrs.)
