Not sure what to say?

A wonderful man, RIP

Betty, I am so sorry to hear that Mr. Werthan passed away. It was an honor for me to have known both of you and to have been of assistance to you at the bank. Please accept my heartfelt sympathy.

Dear Mrs Werthan, I was sadden to hear of Mr Werthan's passing. Your family was always kind and very impressional on this McGavock HS student (1971-72). May Gods love and peace be with the family. Delores Holt Cole

I did not have the pleasure of knowing Mr. Werthan personally, but I certainly knew him by reputation when I was growing up in Nashville. His passing is a great loss to Nashville and to Klal Yisrael. May all who loved him be comforted among the mourners of our people, and in the arms of friends and family!

Dear Betty, Betsy, Kay, Tim, Tony and family,

Your husband/Dad/grandpa was one of the finest! In his quiet demeanor he touched the lives of so many. He stood up for what he believed in and always put others before himself. As a young girl, I remember visiting Nashville and Duck Key and feeling so welcomed. Your Dad loved spending time with the younger generation and getting to know us.

If the world were filled with more Bernard Werthan's, it would be a much more...

To the Werthan family, my condolences. I only met Mr. Werthan a couple of times, and was impressed by his manner, kindness and peacefulness. A nice fellow, to say the least.

To all the Werthan family, Bernard was like a father to me, he always ask for my help and I always was there for him, I am going to miss him, my condolences to all of you and we will meet again in heaven, rest in peace Bernard.

To the Werthan family, I regret hearing about the passing of this great man. I enjoyed my years at Werthan Packaging and will never forget who he made each employee there feel appreciated.

Dear Werthan Family, I was sorry to hear about the passing of Bernard. Although it has been many years since I've seen him, I still remeber him being a very kind man. I remember visitng your family many years ago and going to Gatlinburg. I also remember flying with Phil and Mom to visit a few years afterward. We lost Dad in February at he same age of 86.
Be well.
