Dr. Bernard Yablin

Dr. Yablin was mine and my brothers pediatrician throughout our childhood, living back in Fairport. We were both born with health issues, mine kidney disease and a-fib and my brothers grand mal seizures and severe allergies. We are now in our 40's and still think of Dr. Yablin often recalling how many times he was really there for us, even for off duty emergency hospital visits. She was a very kind man with a twinkle in his eye. He was very loved. My condolences to Jo Ann, Dorian, Adrian, and family.

Dr. Yablin was my doctor and then my mentor and then my colleague. His career inspired mine and I became a pediatrician like him. I will always remember him every day in my office, because I weigh babies on the scale he gave me. It went from his office to mine when I opened my practice 25 years ago. And guess what, he weighed me on that same scale in his office 25 years before that! How about that for a continuum of Dr. Yablin's legacy! May his soul find peace.

I had worked part time and perdiem at the Jewish Home for almost ten years, after being offered early retirement from Kodak. During this time I got to know Dr. Yablin very well and we had many good conversations, particularly when I was part of the Security Team on evening shift and when things quieted down always enjoyed his company.
Dr. Yablin also had a good sense of humor, and when I would stop back to see him as often as I could, we related many interesting stories.

Great Doctor I missed him the day he retired. He saved my Daughter twice I can't thank him enough. She remembers him for the lung test to repeat the word NINETY NINE. The children Angels now have their own Dr.Angel to watch over them. Rest my friend.

Dear sweet gentle Dr. Yablin, I'm sorry for your families loss but you are at peace now. You were the most wonderful and caring Dr. You were mine and my children's pediatrician. You literally saved my son's life at 10 days old and now he is father of 2 boys and very healthy. My daughter always hated needles and you were the only one she would let give her a shot. Dr. Yablin was my pediatrician for many years and I loved going to him as a child. He was the best shot giver ever! I was very saddened to hear of his passing. My thoughts and prayers are with his family. He was truly a wonderful man!
