Dear Lisa, Even though I did not know your mom as a long time friend the visits I had with her were very special. With everything she had been through she showed no bitterness but expressed a graditude for life and being with her family. It is times like this that you realize just how much someone has touched your heart. Your mom and family are in our prayers. She will be greatly missed.

Take comfort in knowing that now you have a special guardian angel to watch over you.

A friend and confidante, I enjoyed working with Bernie at Bailey School. Her positive attitude toward children, her desire to help students be the best they could be, and her willingness to do anything for the staff demonstrated her unselfishness and care for others. Although now at a distance from each other, I thought of Bernie frequently, missing our conversations about our children and life in general. If ever anyone deserves a spot in heaven, Bernie does.
