Molly H. Mednikow

I learned about Molly's passing a couple of years ago and just found out today about another of our Athens, GA neighbor's passing. My memories of UGA from 1987 are full of Molly and myself becoming close friends since I am from Mississippi and spent time in her home town of Memphis, TN. After I left UGA and went back to Ole Miss, she and I stayed close. I ended up moving back to Atlanta after getting married and we reconnected. I have known Molly since high school and have just heard of her passing. My heart is breaking for Molly and her family. In all my life I have never met a more kind and loving person. The world has literally lost a kind soul. I could live a dozen lifetimes and have the impact that Molly did on this world. I will miss her kind spirit.and infectious smile. Rest In Peace my sweet friend.

Oh! I miss Molly so very much! I met her at UGA in 1987. We had many pleasant times and exciting adventures. Once, she gave me a Laura Ashley dress that I still wear. When my husband wanted an engagement ring for me, he called Molly. That ring means so much to me, not only because my husband gave it to me, but also because Molly helped him design it.
