Uncle Bernie was a great man to me, his family and friends. But he was more than just an uncle. He was model, mentor and genuine friend to me. I appreciated his love for his wife, children and other family members. He was always concerned about my life, travels, restaurants and problems and never became judgmental or negative in our long discussions. His smile was captivating and genuine. I'd visit him 2-5 times a week and he would pop in to my house a few times---both visits from him...

I was fortunate enough to have met Bernie, through my cousin Georgia.He was such an amazing man.He brought such joy to us,from his jokes to conversations of his beautiful Family.He often spoke to us about the love of his life his Wife My Dad loved being with him as the often shared many stories.The two of them together , laughing and having fun.Those beautiful memories of Bernie will never be forgotten.We love and miss you! Thank you for being a great Friend !
