Not sure what to say?

We are saddened at the news of Bernett's passing. He was a true servant of the Lord and was an inspiration to all who had the joy of knowing him. I recall vividly as Minister of Music at First Baptist of Timmonsville serving with him and not only planning the weekly services but also his great desire to serve beyond the pulpit. He was a people person and not only talked the talk but walked the walk. Unfortunately, it has been almost 20 years since I last saw him at Shoney's in Summerville...

We both enjoyed talking with Bernie recently @ HealthSouth. He was always smiling, no matter what. He had a very positive outlook and had uplifting things to say. Our thoughts & prayers are with all of you. Love, David & Nancy Burke

Coach Waitt, Hanna, and family,
I am very sorry to hear about your loss. My thoughts are with you during these difficult times.

I am very sad that you have passed, but I am so thankful that you are in Heaven now.

You are in our thoughts and prayers. May God give you His Comfort during this time as you deal with the loss of your beloved Bernie - husband, father and grandfather.

Mrs. Jane and family, please accept Dean's and my condolences to you all in the death of one of God's faithful servants, Mr. Bernie. Our prayers go out to you at this time.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you as you go through these days and weeks dealing with the loss of your beloved husband, father and grandfather. May you sense God's Presence very near and His comfort be a blessing to you during this time.

Praying for your family. Rev Waitt was my pastor at Antioch when I accepted Christ as my Lord and Savior. I know you have sadness now- yet Joy knowing he is in Heaven. Rev Waitt meant so much to my parents,Curtis and Cat Johnson and I know they are at peace with him in Eternity.

Our thoughts and prayers are with your family on the Homegoing of your father. Billy and Donna Rowell
