Bernice L. Carter

Hello to Bernice's family. I will miss Bernice. Going to visit my mother at Heather Hills was an adventure with Bernice at the table. She became especially good friends with my father and I thank her for that. I only wish I could have had her as a teacher. She must have been the best. I send my deep condolences. HI, I am so sorry to hear of Bernice passing. She was a delight to be around during her stay at Heather Hills. She sat right next to my mother who remains there. By dad Bob Green became very fond of Bernice and her history. Thanks so much for sharing her with us.

I was fortunate to have gotten to know Mrs. Carter over the past few years as she kindly shared her dinner table with my mother, Virginia Green, at Heather Hills.

Bernice was a wonderful person who was always with a smile. She always had interesting story to tell about memories of her husband Vere, Caledonia, teaching, and her family and freinds.

I regret that I will be unable to attend services on Monday but would like to entend my sincere condolences to Bernice's...
