Not sure what to say?

While growing up Mrs. Dean was a second mother to me. She never did anything halfway. Her influence has blossomed over the years in my life...I owe her a lot.
Patsy & Bobby, I only just heard of your mother's passing July 22nd and am sorry to pieces I wasn't there to pay my last respects. She was one of the most honorable & encouraging people I've ever known. I think of you both so often and never so much as now. I'd love to send a copy of my book Fruits of My Solitude in which...

Mrs. Dean was my 2nd grade teacher. I thought she was a fascinating woman, even then. She made me speak up, and was always encouraging. I last saw her in January 2010. I'd come home for a week to visit my parents (Pat and Fred Tarver). I've always looked forward to seeing her at church, and to her giving me big handfuls of hard candy like she did so many years ago. She will be missed.

Patsy and Bobby,
Please know that my prayers are with you and I am so sorry for your loss. I saw your mother last summer when I was in Flint. I was glad that I got to see her in good spirits.

I admired Soror Bernice Dean's faithfulness and her positive attitude. She set an example for all of to follow.

My prayers are with the family.

Soror Shirley Luckado-McReynolds

Mrs. Dean, was a kind and patient woman. I would see her at the Fitness USA Health Spa, most often doing water aerobics. She was also a neighbor; and she will be missed. May God Bless your family and keep you in His embrace.

Ms. S. Milton

Dear Patsy, sorry to hear of the passing of your Mother.

Mrs. Dean was my daughter,Veronica's second grade teacher. She is 37 years old now. This is how long our relationship with a wonderful and beautiful woman. I will truly miss her presence in church where I always sat next to her. God bless the family members and I will never forget Bernice Dean.
