My condolences to the family, I'm so sorry for your loss.

Mama, we miss you so much. Each of your children have pieces of fond memories of you, and at your memorial service those pieces came together. For those of you that were able to be there in celebration, thank you so much for demonstrating how much our mom, and my dad's best friend, meant to you. Your presence was more of a testimony of her greatness than any flowery words I could express.

Bernice Barbara Grady
On January 25, 2015 the Lord peacefully called to take Bernice Barbara Grady home. Bernice was born in Elizabeth NJ on March 13, 1931 to the late Robert Battle and the late Tinetta Southers.
In 1945 she moved to Baltimore MD, where her loving dad, Robert (Sonny) Bates, entered into her life. At an early age she was blessed with a son Anthony (Tony) Gross. In 1949 she met and married Joseph Davis in Jacksonville Fl. This union was blessed with 5 children: Joseph...

I met Mrs. Grady who I later called "Mom" back in the 80's. She welcomed me into the family and loved me like one of her own. She was a strong and wise woman who always had a word of wisdom to pass along. I'll never forget those Sunday dinners and family get togethers which meant so much to me.
I Love you mom and I know you rest peacefully with GOD.
