Bernice Patton Harris

Bernice and Thomas were wonderful members of First Baptist Church. She was also a member of the Miriam Missionary Ministry. My husband loved giving her a hug and joking with Thomas. They made him feel like a son since he did not grownup in Gary but Mississippi. She will be missed like her husband. We know he is rejoicing now that his lovely wife is with him in heaven. My fondest mermory was during my childhood aunt Bernie and uncle Tom would come to Alabama on vacation every Oct.I couldn't wait to see what she was bringing me.They were always thinking of others

Aunt Bernice truly loved her many nieces and nephews. But, as much as she loved us, I believed we loved her more.
