Jane, Matt and all of the Mc Cabe Family, we were deeply saddened to learn of the death of Bernice. Bernice was truly remarkable, and her absence leaves a void that can never be filled. She was the light that connected with Ireland. We will always cherish her memories, kindness, humour and strength.

To the McCabe Family, Please accept my heartfelt prayers on your mother's passing. I did not know her, but I was startled to read her birth year--1923, the same as my father, also born in our City (albeit in St Brigid's Parish)! She also would have been at St Paul's when my cousins were, just a few years difference. Mrs. McCabe must have been an amazing lady as that generation of San Franciscans had such community spirit, core values, support and faith for their church, and such spirit....
