Dear Miles Family
To us Bernie was a "Forever Friend". We remember the joy of the lighter moments we had with her and the moments of concern for others. Her smile was always welcome and her thoughtful words of encouragement were invaluable. We're thankful for the fond memories we have of her dedication to the Lord and His work. May God comfort you during this time of sorrow....Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints. Ps. 116:15

I have very fond memories with Bernice (and Judy Carpenter) volunteering at Cedarbrook Nursing Home. Her eyes always showed joy and love. I smile thinking of her!

Aunt Bernie...you have met all earthly requirements and have reached your final destination....Heaven bound, you're ultimate reward! As you will be missed greatly, we wouldn't want you any other place...if we could see you now, oh my! You have always been one of my favorite aunts & I will always have fond memories of you!

Au revoir for now to a dear, sweet woman. See you at the House!

David and Tom,
I am sorry to hear of your loss. You are in my thoughts and prayers. From an old basketball coach who was honored to have coached the Miles boys.

Bernie as devoted to your family and church so too were you a devoted Cedarbrook Volunteer. You never missed a Friday Devotional Program and kept us all organized with speakers and programs. You will be missed by all your fellow volunteers and the staff of Cedarbrook Nursing Home, Allentown. Bless your family; the Lord now rests His hand on your shoulder.

"Hi, neighbor!" That's how she always greeted us and took our hands and held them while she talked. Bernie we'll miss you, but, only for a short time. I'm happy that you are now in His presence and we'll see ya' later. Praying for peace and comfort to her family during this difficult time.

I worked closely with Bernie at Day-Timer's for many years. There never was a dull moment when she was around...she always had me laughing about something. My deepest sympathies to all of the family. She will be missed.

Faye Herman, Emmaus, PA

Bernie always had a smile and a kind word. She will be greatly missed.
