Not sure what to say?

I am sorry to learn of her passing. When I was little and went to the feed store for any reason, she always made me feel so special and always told me I was special to her...this made me feel so important. Bernice was way ahead of her time for working women and set a great example for others to follow. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this time. Reta

Patrice and family, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Your Mom was a wonderful lady and I know you'll all miss her terribly. I find comfort in this Eskimo legend... “Perhaps they are not stars, but rather openings in heaven where the love of our lost ones pours through and shines down upon us to let us know they are happy.” Last Saturday, another star was born in the heavens. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Woodie

Patrice, I'm very sorry for your loss. My prayers and thoughts are with you and your family. Take comfort in knowing that now you have a special guardian angel to watch over you.

One of my most favorite memories of Bernice was when she served as the church librarian. I spent quite a bit of time in the library as a child picking out books to read, and she always took time to visit with me. Bernice always looked beautiful, even on the days she worked in her yard. She will be missed in this community, and I'm thankful for the opportunity God granted me in allowing our paths to cross. My prayers and love to the family.

We extend deep and heartfelt sympathy to the Moore family on the passing of Bernice. She was a special aunt to me and my siblings in Montana. Though she lived far from Montana, we thought of her and were proud of her life accomplishments. She was so very brave. She will be lovingly remembered.

I enjoyed seeing Ms. Moore when I would go in to get feed. She always welcomed me and called me by name. She was definitely an asset to Hamlin. She will be missed and can never be replaced. May God bless her family.
