Not sure what to say?

I also express my sympathies to Bernice's family. Her hug, wink, smile and quick compliments are exactly what I'll remember of her. Love, Randall

Bernice was one of our special cousins. We will miss her dearly. Especially our phone calls and our quicky notes to each other. God bless her and her wonderful family.

As was indicated by David Beard Bernice had a difficult life in her early years. That was in Aurora, Illinois, where her family associated with members of her family like her Uncle Charlie Glossop and my parents her Uncle Donald and Helen Glossop and her Aunt Essie and Gene Holmes. They lived across from C.M. Bardwell School where she, my brother Ronald and I attended. Ronald with his wife Audrey and son Kent were able to see her often when they were in Portland while Ron was teaching at...

In her early years, Aunt Bernice had a difficult life. For many, this would shape ones personality for the rest of their years. This would not be the case for Aunt Bernice. She was truly blessed and loved her family and friends immensely. She always had a positive outlook on life. She was quick with a smile and a wink. She was always greatful and felt fortunate for what she had. She was a remarkable person and will be sorely missed.

To all my cousins,

No words can describe the sadness in my heart for the loss of your mom and grandma. She was a very lovely person who was kind to all and she will always and forever have a very special place in my heart. I will miss those little talks and her saying to me "hello darling". I love you Aunt Bernice and will miss you...

I will always remember with fondness the warm smile and sparkling eyes...and her way of being quick with a kind word. It's 11:00a on July 2 and we are holding Bernice and her family in our hearts as her memorial is conducted. We wish we could be there with you. We send our love to Linda and her family and condolences for their loss. Mark, Mary and Brittany Stewart

It is with extreme sadness that we say goodby to our beloved sister. She was a loving, caring person who always looked out for others. We will miss her sparkling eyes and the little wink she gave us when she wanted to tease us. We will miss our visits where she would ask her brother Jim to make large pots of soup so she would freeze them and have them for months. She loved to see our dogs and would let them enjoy being honored guests in her home. She was the best sister anyone could ever...
