That was in Aurora, Illinois, where her family associated with members of her family like her Uncle Charlie Glossop and my parents her Uncle Donald and Helen Glossop and her Aunt Essie and Gene Holmes. In her early years, Aunt Bernice had a difficult life. For many, this would shape ones personality for the rest of their years. This would not be the case for Aunt Bernice. She was truly blessed and loved her family and friends immensely. She always had a positive outlook on life. She was quick with a smile and a wink. She was always greatful and felt fortunate for what she had. She was a remarkable person and will be sorely missed.

It is with extreme sadness that we say goodby to our beloved sister. She was a loving, caring person who always looked out for others. We will miss her sparkling eyes and the little wink she gave us when she wanted to tease us. We will miss our visits where she would ask her brother Jim to make large pots of soup so she would freeze them and have them for months.
