Not sure what to say?

Aunt Bernice was a wonderful lady. I remember the awesome food she made and parties at her place in Belmont. She had a big heart and always there to lend a hand. She will have a special place in my heart with fond memories. I will miss her.

I remember my Auntie Bernice's cooking, what a cook she was. I remember Mama and us kids all going to Auntie Bernice's in Belmont. Then as I got older I remember going to Clearlake and visiting her and Uncle Albert there in the Summer. Auntie Bernice always in the kitchen cooking for us all. The enjoyment she got watching us all eat. I also remember going to play Bingo with her,Beverly and Auntie Elsie in San Jose, and then coming back to her house and having a couple of drinks. We'd have so...

Mrs. Q was a very special lady. I got to know her and her family very well as they lived down the road from us on Bryant Road for many years. She will be missed and always thought of as kind and loving to her family and all around her. My heart goes out to her family during this time.
Love and Prayers,

Bernice Quintero was one of the strongest, courageous, generous people I will ever know. While growing up in the Bay Area, I remember spending the summer with my Aunt Beverly and the Quintero’s in Clear Lake. During my visits, Mrs. Quintero always treated me as one of her grandchildren, even though we are not blood relatives. As a child, I remember some of the chores she delegated to me and my cousin Rachel. One of the chores was making the beds with the “hospital fold” technique. Since then,...

Mrs. Quintero was a beautiful person to all who knew her. She always opened her home and her heart to us. I remember as a child
traveling to her home on the weekends with my Aunt Beverly. Mrs. Quintero would be in the kitchen preparing a meal for an army. Even when she could not stand up, she would sit on a chair at the stove and cook for us all. She was the best cook that ever lived...Forget Martha Stewert and Betty Crocker they couldn't hold a candle to Bernice. She was a hard...

My memories of my Aunt is her cooking. She did it all with excellance. And always wanted me to iron her cloths. I hope that she was asking me because I was the best person that ironed. Aunt Bernice was a special woman that always wanted things done right the first time. I will miss her.

I never met Bernice, but my friend, Al Filippo, has told me many stories of her love of family and what an excellent cook she was during her lifetime here with us. I offer my condolences to her chosen "Romeo" hubby Al and his many friends and family. I'm sure all will miss her very much, but she will be in their hearts forever.

*My Grandmother the Angel*
My Grandmother was the most beautiful strongest woman I had ever known. She was an angel from heaven and never ever complained about anything. Her whole life was dedicated to her family and her family is what made her the happiest. My grandfather absolutely adored her and took excellent care of her since the day they met. She always had a bright sparkle in her eyes when he would enter the room. I could only pray that my husband and I share half of what my...
