Bernice Sandler (1928 – 2019) played an integral part in the creation of the landmark Title IX law that prohibits sex discrimination by educational institutions that receive federal funding. She died from cancer at age 90. For full obituary and coverage from, click here.

The span f our life is 70 years, or 80 if one is especially strong (Psalm 90:10), Bernice Sandler exceeded in mightiness and had a life filled with treasured memories with loved ones and friends. God promises a reunion when all can smile and find joy in reminiscing about those good times.

She was an outstanding woman with a heartfelt determination. Please accept my sincere condolences for the loss of your beloved friend. May the peace and comfort that our Heavenly Father provides, be granted to you to help you endure this moment of grief.
