When I heard of the passing of Bernice "Lady" Thomas, my mind instantly took me back to a time and place some 40+yrs ago in Adamsville where I first met "Lady" and TheThomas Family entirely...and the memories flooded in!!!! Your incredible grandmother "Mama Chip's" house was right up the street from our old house and I believe that is how our families were introduced.
