Not sure what to say?

Just remembering life in the past, looking forward to the future. Grandma Tilley's Pastor Chip (Bro & Sis Gee's son) started his church while grandma Tilley was in Concord. Now just over 5 years later we are getting ready to move into a new location and we know how pleased grandma would be. This day before Resurrection Sunday it is wonderful to remember our loved ones who are already with the Lord and because He lives, they live also and we shall live too.

Remembering mom/grandma Tilley today on the second anniversary of her homegoing. Knowing how she must still be visiting with all the loved ones who had gone on before ... how wonderful a reunion they must still be sharing; especially with our Savior too. Thinking of what this day holds for Larry & family, Alta & family and all the other loved ones who have had to continue on without the smile we all loved so much. We are thankful for the pictures and video that we have to see the image...

Today as I take the time to read the entrys written by all of those who new and loved Aunt Be and miss her; I think of how she shared her love for life with the people around her. Her smile was a ray of sunshine. She gave so much of herself to others by being a friend and her love for the Lord.
I know Alta and Larry as do others miss Aunt Be. I miss her very much. As I made maby my last trip down through Califonia last summer; and we passed our trunoff to Concord I had this terrible...

What a warm day on your Birthday Mom but it was a day to take a break and remember all the good things you taught me all my life. I wasn't down in Concord but I did get a call from the kids asking how I was doing. Of course I said Just Fine just as if you would be the one to answer them. I had my moments but I know you are in a beautiful peaceful and painless place so that makes it o.k for you to be gone. I do miss you so much. I can still hear your voice in my head when I would call you and...

We were just recalling memories of Mom/Grandma on the anniversary of her birth. I (Hazel) got a smile recalling how we shared "girl talk" moments about our concerns and how to help each other out. One time Dad really needed to see a doctor and was not wanting to go ... would not listen to mom about it ... she asked me to talk to him, which I did and convinced him to go. Later when she was thanking me, my husband Gene only heard part of the conversation and thought we were talking about him...

How wonderful that our Grandma Tilley is still touching lives. Thanks to this guest book a friend, Betty, contacted us and let us know of another friend's passing; which in turn led to a reunion with another friend we had not seen in about 50 years. How blessed to be able to talk with him and his wife, whom we met for the first time. Makes Heaven sound even sweeter. Waiting for the BIG reunion with all our loved ones.

Today is Valentines Day and I realy miss you Mom.

Happy Valentine Day to all that read this in Mother's Guest Book Entry.

I love you Mom.

Sitting here sending Valentine Cards to all the special loved ones and started thinking of the ones who are no longer with us. Especially the ones who left within the last year or so. Grandma Tilley was one who came to mind first .. in fact we have been thinking about her a lot lately. Having her beautiful picture over our TV helps us remember and think of her every day ... but when we think of a day most people celebrate as a "Love Day" she is definitely one of the first we think of and...
