Not sure what to say?

So sorry to hear that Bernice had passed away. But she is in a much better place with Ray! We can all learn from her: a kind, gracious, generous, and loving women she was. I met her through my parents business. She had gone to Eureka high school with my grand mother Evelyn. (Who will be 94 this month!) Bernice would often take me to lunch and even ask me to drive her car. Years later I was able to rent a place from her and could not afford a high rent, that was fine with her. I would walk...

Very saddened to hear the news; my prayers are with all those who share my family's sorrow. Not only was Bernice (who's with Ray in heaven now) a true friend to my grandparents, Joe & Bea Romero...she also gave my sister Lisa & I our TV debut in a locally-produced commercial for the Phillips mini-LP in the late '60s.. As if that weren't enough, she gave me some employment at the store when I was struggling for work, back when I was 18 & living in Eureka in '79. God rest her soul.

It is with a great deal of sadness that I learned of Bernice Wallace's passing. Our family has many fond memories of our friendship with Bernice and Raymond "The Little Old Homemakers". My father Barry Adams worked for Ray and Bernice in the 1940's at Everybody's Furniture. He taught their son Paul how to drive. Those were the good old days.
Our family spent many wonderful moments with Bernice and Ray on holidays and their birthday celebrations. We will miss her.
Our heart goes...

I extend my deepest sympathies to the Wallace family.
Bernice was a close friend of my grandparents, the Romeros. Since my grandmother didn't drive, Bernice would pick her up and drive her to all the BPW and Quota Club meetings.
She was always very friendly and generous to me as a child, and when I'd visit my grandparents for Christmas, she was always sure to come for a visit to bring a gift and ask me about school.
Bernice was elegant, professional, gracious, and a...

To those Dear Ones Bernice leaves behind,
My sympathy is with you as you grieve your loss. Bernice's was and should be a "model" for many. I first became personally acquainted with her through one of her many endeavors, a as co-member of Business and Professional Women, back in our younger days. Bernice was that, a Professional Woman, and a great one too!
May you always honor and enjoy your memories of her, and may they bring you comfort as you relive them.

It was with sadness that I learned of the passing of Aunt Bernice. Unfortunately, I was not able to attend the funeral. However, I did want to share some of my memories of Aunt Bernice as I was growing up in Eureka.

My parents were survivors of the Holocaust and settled in Eureka to be near Uncle Oscar and Uncle Raymond. We were relatively poor although I did not know it. We did not own a car until I was old enough to drive. So, when my brother Joe and I were young, my first...

We were very sorry to hear about the death of Bernice. Our sympathies go out to the family.
