Read MoreBernice was our next door neighbor in Northlake, IL. As a kid I played with John and Michael (Pickles). She always smiled and I don't recall her ever yelling or being upset or anything. Her house was open as was her heart. I married the same time she moved to FL. Thinking of her brings a smile to my face. God has added another Bea soul to Heaven, peace my friends.

Bernice was my friend for 25 years and a founding member of our church, Unity Community in Dunedin. Her love of family and friends was just one of her many beautiful qualities. Her "get-up-and-go" attitude served as a role model to me. I will never forget her, ever!
