Rhonda, I knew Bernie for many years at Beverly, and our kids went to school and church with you. I renewed friendship with your mom at 8th, after Beverly closed, and enjoyed our chats at coffee time. We praised Our God and Savior, always!

I met Bernie a while back, (maybe a year ago?) at the Family Fare in Grandville. I didn't know her, but she was in one of those motorized carts, and she asked me to reach up and get her an item for her cart. She was so friendly and thankful, and we struck up a conversation. I learned that she had cancer, and as we talked further, I learned that she also attended 8th Reformed Church. Although not a member, I knew people years ago from 8th Reformed, so we had a great time with those memories. I...

She was one of my best friends in high school and beyond. You couldn't find a better person. So many wonderful memories. We still connected on the internet over the years and she will be missed.

Rhonda, So sorry for your loss. I know you always spent a lot of time looking out for your mom, and know you were her angel on earth. Rest in peace, Mrs. Wing.

Bernie Kay will be deeply missed. Talking to her was like picking up a conversation from the day before. It warmed my heart to hear her talk when I handed over some family dishes. She was like a kid opening a Christmas present. May you use them now in honor of her. My sympathies. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Bernie lived at Heritege Park. She was a friend to all her neighbors. She will be missed. she always had a smile. we will miss that smile. Condolences to her family
