Bernie Diekevers

Dear Carol and Family, Tom and I were sorry to hear of Bernie´s passing. It was so nice to visit with you and Bernie over the fence in our backyards. You and Bernie were such great neighbors. Prayers for all of you. Tom and Sonja Busha

Please know I share in your sadness as you mourn the passing of your husband, dad, and grandfather. Your family had such a positive impact in the community/Galewood neighborhood. Keeping all of you in my prayers.

Dear Carol and Family - We are so saddened to read of Bernie's passing. We have fond memories of wonderful neighbors around the corner from us for many years. Please accept our sincere heartfelt sympathy but I know from readying Bernie's obituary that he is "absent the body - present with the Lord."

Bernie was truly a rare gem of a man....always a smile and huge along with his infectious laugh! He and Carol were youth group leaders when Tom and I were in high school and were so welcoming! Bernie was always so supportive of the children´s ministries and willing to lead a hand (no matter how crazy the idea was)....Tom and I would like to express our deepest sympathies for this great loss!
