Not sure what to say?

Bernie was a very special individual to me. Not only was he my husband, he was my best friend. Even after our divorce, I went to Bernie for advice on life. He was one special guy !!! He is dearly missed by me and my family !!!

Steve and Family, I am so sorry to hear that Bernie passed away. We had a lot of fun throughout our school years with Mike Siekierski, Mark Leszczynski and the rest of the guys. A real gentleman with a great smile and booming laugh. Thanks for the memories Bernie. May God rest your soul. Thoughts and Prayers are with you from the McShea Family. Regards, Tom McShea

I have worked with Bernie for over 15 years. What started out as a business relationship turned into a great friendship. This man loved his son and was extremely proud of him. I will miss him and his family are in my prayers.

My heart goes out to the whole Eckert family. Bernie was such a good guy I have known Bernie since third grade. We just recently reconnected on face book Though it wasn't long enough it was fun talking about the old days and sharing memories. Rest in Peace my friend.

Cheryl and Family: Bernie was a very "fun-loving" kinda guy -- he had an infectous smile! I hurts to know that such a person is no long with us. My prayers and sympathy to all of you.

Bernie, even though you have been gone from "home" for many years-you have never been out of my heart. Our family has a major void right in the middle. Please give Mom & Dad a big hug for me. I love you.
