I taught at Lister Elementary School for many years. I remember Bernyce fondly as a wonderful, caring instructor and helpful coworker. We shared a love of story telling that opened up new worlds for many many students. Bernyce was a treasure. To her family and friends, I am so sorry for your loss.

Sending love and condolences to the family as you mourn the loss of your beautiful mother. I was fortunate to have started my 41 year career at Lister with Bernyce as our beloved Librarian! She was a mentor and friend over the years. Bernyce loved her family above all and was so proud of her kids. I cherish the memories and wish I could be there to celebrate her life!
