I feel very lucky and blessed, though, that all of us from Nebraska and Illinois had the opportunity to meet Bert at the Reagan reunion in 2004. What a warm and kind man he was! I didn´t have the opportunity to get to know Bert well, but I do know my cousin Linda was very happy with him. Prayers for strength, peace and comfort to all members of Bert´s family.

Captain, you are now relieved from your post. A job well done fellow veteran. America thanks you for your service to our country in the defense of freedom.
