Not sure what to say?

Even under these sad circumstances, my first thoughts of Bert brought a smile to my face. I have lots of fond memories about him. I worked with Bert (and Flip) at General Dynamics on “advanced technologies” projects that still influence programs in work today. My condolences to the family and wishes for your peace and comfort in this time of loss.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

My mom's oldest brother was the one I always called Uncle Monkey. Didn't think a thing of the name when I was a young girl, although my friends would question me every time I said it. I wish I would have had more quality time with all of my mom's brothers, Uncle Monk will always be remembered in my heart and soul as a tall, handsome, kind, intelligent man whom I always admired and loved.

May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.

Uncle Bert (Monk) was so kind and smart with a great sense of humor. I am so saddened that he is not in our world anymore. But I look forward to the day we are reunited.
I am praying for God's comfort for all of you.

Sorry to hear about your father. My prayers are with you and your family, Garth. Colleen Perez

Dan, Melton and all the rest of the family, I was so sorry to hear about the loss of your brother, Bert. I remember the Dimocks as a family of entrepreneurs, writers and journalists. Dan and I grew up together in Bowie and were classmates and friends. I remember reading about Bert when he was an outstanding journalism student at North Texas. I went to the same school, also studying journalism. I want to extend my sincere sympathy to all the family for this great loss of a beloved big brother...
