Mom called me to tell me about your loss. I hate that this is a reason for me to be in touch....it's been a long time. We were all such "buddies" and I miss those times. Please know that you are all in my heart and prayers at this time and I wish you all healing. God Bless! Rissie Godsey

Carolyn,
My deepest sympathy to you and your family. I graduated the Virginia State Police Academy with Bert, and was a trooper with him at the Area 6 office. We lived two rooms apart at the academy and shared many fond memories together throughout our careers. He was a lifelong friend, dedicated to his family, and a true asset to the citizens of Virginia.

Carolyn,
We are sorry about your loss. We will keep you and your family in our prayers.

We would like to extend our deepest sympathy to all the family.
You will be remembered in our prayers.
