Not sure what to say?

Bert was a true friend and a great hunting companion. It was my privilege to live near him for 17 years in Copperfield and to go deer hunting with him on numerous occasions. He taught me a lot about deer hunting. I will never forget some of his exploits.

I was very lucky to have know Bert. From my childhood in Copperfield I remember he would always give us rides in his car through the "tunnel". As I got older I again way lucky to work with Bert at the Copper Mine even having the chance to be his brakeman on the train a few times. My sincerest sympathies to his entire family (especially Keith also a long time friend).

Daddy, I will truly miss you. I love you. Leslie

Bert, I will always think of yoy as one who could bring a smile to my face whenever we were together. I believe we had a special connection from my early childhood. Dad (Shep) enjoyed your visits so much. I will think of you often & all the laughs we shared. Love always Ruth

We will miss Bert so much. He was such a wonderful person and so much fun to be around. He always told us what a great family he had and how very proud he was of them.

I surely love my cousin Bert. His humor and opinions have always brought a smile. My memories of him are all good ones - what better could be said? I know this is a hard time for all of you and I send my love.

We love you, Grandpa, and miss you already. Keep them laughing in Heaven with your quips and stories.

Bert was quite a colorful grandpa and a lot of fun to listen to. You never quite knew what would come out of his mouth or what he might say about somebody. I was very lucky to have had him in my life and will miss him very much. No one who ever met him could ever forget him.

Dear Burt and Diane,
I was so sorry to read of the death of your father. Please accept my sincere sympathy.
