Not sure what to say?

I still find myself wanting to give Bert a call to ask his thoughts or to talk about life. We were in a pressure cooker 16 student program at Rutgers Med School in NJ for two years and then had to transfer to another med school for our clinical years; Bert to Denver and I to San Francisco. Bert and i played tennis for an hour nearly every decent weather day but mostly we just laughed. Bert had a wonderful sense of irony but without cynicism. Group of 10 Memorial Trees

One time I asked Bert how he kept flies out of his home. He replied that he would catch a fly, and rather than kill it, he would break some of its legs and let it go. Then the fly would, till all the other flies not to go there, because of how dangerous it was! I remember one of Burt´s favorite snacks...

I have fond memories of working with Dr. McKinnon at Flagstaff Medical Center and Flagstaff Bone and Joint. He loved people . The patients and staff truly enjoyed his company. You are in our thoughts and prayers. Love, Megan Kinlacheeny

Single Memorial Tree

Such a beautiful obituary for such a wonderful man. Heaven has certainly gained an angel.

I was one of those patients that Dr. McKinnon saved. I was so scared to even be in his office but he walked I. And gave me such a dad hug, I couldn't help but be more at ease. I will miss you sir.

Bert was a long-time client that turned into a good friend. He tried his best to teach me to fly fish at Lee´s Ferry. Smooth waters my friend.

Karen and Audrey, I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Bert. May God comfort and keep you during this time and always.
