Farewell Bert Newton and thanks for the memories. I grew up watching you present Good Morning Australia, Bert's Family Feud and 20 to One. Bert's warm smile has lit up Australia Television. I extend deep condolences to wife Patti and 2 children, Matt and Lauren and six grandchildren.

Farewell you legend. Bert you the one that everyone watched when they were young lighting up the lounge rooms of everyone around Australia. You were the strength for Patti and your family always positive no matter what. hard to believe you are gone after such an amazing career as an entertainer, moonface, man of faith, father, grandfather, husband, friend, colleague. Bert Newton has been on the tv screen for as long as I can remember I’m 63 and loved his on screen presence. No other could do the Logies like him either, a true blue Aussie Entertainer. RIP

Can't believe the feelings of grief that I've experienced since hearing of Bert's passing, despite having never met in person. Just goes to show how much his beautiful soul merged with all Australians and others via a human, spiritual connection, forged through a sense of humour and laughter.
