Not sure what to say?

Just a couple of days ago in Accra, Ghana as I sat and waited for a flight back to the US , I shared my banking experience in retirement with a friend and of course I had to bring in the memory of Bert, my mentor who steered my growth at American Express Bank New York. Bert, continue to rest in perfect peace.

I have lost a great Mentor. I worked at American Express Bank New York with Bert until the time he left to consult for a Turkish Bank in NY. He was my friend and Mentor in the Bank's first mentor program. He helped me to understand the sales/marketing side of our business and was instrumental in my growth at the bank.

Bert and Ernie,Mentor and Mentee, was the joke on us. We clicked and worked well together.

May He Rest In Perfect Peace.

To his family, please...

My condolances to the family. I knew Bert through Curtis High School and the Order of the Arrow. I was glad to see him at our high school's 50th reunion. He was a real friend. I posted the obituary to our email group. May God bless you all.

Our deepest sympathy. We are sorry for your loss. We are praying for your family.

Dear Judy and family: Please accept our deepest condolences. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

A prayer to the Samuelson family from someone who has been a friend for more years than I care to remember.
Bert was truly a good friend to my husband and me and one of the really good people put on this earth.
Go with God, Bert
Love,

Dear Judy and Family,

Please accept my deepest condolences. I truly enjoyed working with Bert at AmexBank. He always had me laughing (when we were supposed to be working!) and had the best jokes!

God bless Bert and may he rest in peace.

Sincerely,

I was initiated into the cub scouts (Den one Pack, 38 1950) on Staten Island, with Bert. I'll Never forget him or the initiation. He always did his best. My condolences to his family and friends.

Bert is with the Lord today and feeling no pain. We pray the Lord will send comfort and peace to his family. You will see each other at the appointed time.
