Not sure what to say?

June, we are so sorry for your loss! Praying for God’s loving arms to hold you tight!

I grew up with Bert and went to grammar school together. Spent many days candling eggs with him for his dad. Played little league and Babe Ruth baseball together. Peddled eggs door to door with him on Saturday mornings. Great times to remember. So sorry to hear of his passing. My prayers are with June and the family.

Kathy and I are so sorry to hear of your loss. Praying for you

Bert was our awesome cottage neighbor! Fond memories of many long summer days talking with Bert and June on their deck-and him sharing a ripe tomato or two! They both will always have a special place in our hearts! We will miss you, Bert, and looking forward when we’re all reunited again in heaven some day! June, our continued prayers and love to you and all your wonderful family! Scott and Lori

My first job was at Village Farmstand. Bert and June were always very kind and full of knowledge. I have many fond memories of working there. My condolences to all his family.

Bert, was the best man at my wedding to Marcie Witvoet(Bert's sister) in September 1968. I(Alan Winter) was from London, England and was staying at their parents house on Cottage Grove in South Holland. During that summer, which was an eventful time ( Democratic convention downtown Chicago and the riots), I spent many afternoons at Bert and June's home also in South Holland. Bert and June were really supportive of me and my upcoming marriage.

Over the next few years, we lived...
