Belinda and Louise:
I enjoyed chatting with your mother last year at Christmas time in reminiscing about all those wonderful years they had, along with my mother Gladys, at Burlingame UCC. They were truly good and faithful servants, and I have fond memories of that time. Rev. David Lee Smith forwarded a note with her obituary. My thoughts and prayers are with you, and those you love.

A great many people at Burlingame UCC cherished the years Bertha and Lee ministered with them. She was deeply appreciated. My sympathy to Louise and Belinda and all who mourn her passing.

Bertha was a good friend and mentor through UCC Women of Michigan. We had many shared memories and friends. She will be missed.

A light has gone from the world. Bertha was a blessing to all she knew. I will miss her deeply.

My deepest sympathy to this lovely woman's family - I worked with her during elections. I also had the privilege of providing some "help" to her through the adults at Liberty Club. She was always so kind and generous. And now resting in the arms of Jesus!
