Bertha "Bert" Dodson

May 25, 1921 - July 6, 2015 Bertha "Bert" Dodson, age 94, of Bessemer, AL passed away Monday, July 6, 2015. She was a lifetime member of South Crest Baptist Church and retired from Sears. Bert was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Angala Dodson and her grandson, Corey Dodson. She is survived by her husband, Robert "Bob" Dodson; her sons, Kenny (Susan) Dodson and Bobby (Sue) Dodson; four grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren; her sister, Blanche Callahan and several nieces, nephews, extended loving family and friends. Funeral services will be Thursday, July 9, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at South Crest Baptist Church with burial in the adjoining cemetery. Bro. Scott Bush will be officiating.
