Not sure what to say?

Ms. Douglas,

I am so blessed to have had a wonderful teacher as you. You have touched so many lives throughout your tenure as a teacher. I remember having you as my 4th grade teacher, and then the following year in 5th grade. I learned so much from you, in fact you were the reason I wanted to become a educator. To touch lives as you did, being FIRM but fair.

I am glad that out paths crossed again at Church of the Disipicle. You got a chance to see the finishing products...

Your teachings has lasted me a lifetime, there will never be another quite like you, A Master Teacher; one who truly loved and cared about her students, rare in today's society. Your encouragement enabled me to win my first of many Oratorical Contest, I still remember my first speech (Johnathan Blake ate too much cake!) I went on to become a Professional Radio Personality at K104FM, and travel abroad; I'm glad I had an opportunity to be in touch with you after so many years through your...

You will forever live in the hearts of those you taught. Such a great educator and inspiration. Rest in peace.

To the family of Ms. Douglas my heart goes out to you and you are in my prayers. She was my teacher many, years ago and I can honestly tell you they don't make teachers like her and Mrs. Scott anymore, she was a very beautiful person and I only have fund memeories of her.
D. Ferguson

She was my 3rd and 4th grade teacher as well and my most favorite teacher ever. She was an inspiraton to all her students. I remember when she won teacher of the year at RL Thornton. It was an award well deserved. I will never forget you Ms. Douglas...RIP

Ms. Douglas was also my 3rd and 4th grade teacher. She will be truly missed. When I sent my children to RL Thornton, it was in hopes that they too could get a Ms. Douglas and as fate would have it, she was still there and REMEMBERED ME!!! That is the type of teacher and woman she was. She has a permenant place in my heart forever!

Truly a inspiration to all that she came in contact with. One of those teachers that remains etched in your mind. RIP!

Ms. Douglas will be missed. She was an great educator and her students received a firm foundation of knowledge.

Ms. Douglas.

I am so very sad that you've left this world but know we will rejoice together again in Glory. You had, by far, the most positive impact on me--of all my teachers. You taught me that it was okay to try hard, be smart and be the absolute best person I could be. I remember being in your 3rd grade class (79/80 school year), learning contractions in your class and the class number was 3D.

Even in death I want you to know that I have never forgotten what you've...
