Not sure what to say?

I have such wonderful memories of Aunt Bertha. I loved visiting both her and Uncle Howard. The great family get togethers she planned were something I will always treasure. I have kept many of the cards and mementos she and Uncle Howard sent through the years along with their loving notes and letters. She was a very special person to me. Rest in peace Aunt Bertha. I love you. Noelle Griffin

To my Great Aunt Bertha: May you rest in peace and be with the rest of your loved ones in heaven. Another timing of finding your relatives thru ancestry.com and a little too late. (Kathryn Loomis' granddaughter)

With Love always,

Mrs. Veronica K. Evans Taylor

To Eleanor and Marion and Arlene, and the rest of the family. So sorry to hear of Bertha's passing. My prayers are with you all at this time.

I had the privilege of working with Bertha in the shipping room. She met Howard on a date I set up. We attended a football game at Syracuse University.
Howard & Bertha attended many of my baseball games for the Community team. She always had good meals at their home
and enjoyed all the Yankee broadcasts with Howard.

Bertha was a very generous person.
I remember her giving me gifts at special times like a dress for a concert or a bicycle for my twelfth birthday,
I remember fondly the family gatherings at Bertha and Howard's home. Bertha always had special breakfasts when we came to visit. Bertha was a special sister-in-law to me. She always will be.

I will always remember Aunt Bertha for her many crafts and creativity. Our family gatherings in Sherrill were a highlight of my years growing up. More recently the annual visit to the bazaar, and having a cup of coffee and piece of mince pie with Uncle Howard while Aunt Bertha worked at the table is a memory I cherish.

To my aunt Bertha, you will be missed, I will keep you in my heart forever. I long the days we spent with you during the summer when I was 4 or 5, swimming in the pool, and most of all eating the bon bons, my heart goes out to family and friends, I wish I could be there with you
