Bertha Arlina Koskela Harris

I was an LNA at Summerhill for 4 of the years that Bertha lived there! I also am Finnish/Swedish so we´d share some Finn when we´d see each other! She was one of my faves!! I also had the opportunity to see her in the past year or so when I´d come to Summerhill to sing with "Choppy Choir" she´d listen to the hymns and tears would be in her eyes.. I´d be sure to go greet her after and shed light up when I´d approach her! She remembered me from when I worked there! She sure will be missed ! God...

What a wonderful lady Bertha was. Caring and sharing. Always honest to the core! Having been a recipient of her bread and peanut butter fudge, I count myself blessed. Rest in peace .
