There are so many memories of an era gone by, elegant catered dinner parties at the home of my parents Theone and Alvin Halpern. Between private parties for intimate friends, to major holiday and life cycle events, the only caterer they would use was Ms Bertha. I can still smell all the amazing deliciousness coming from my parents kitchen over 50 years ago. What a loss New Orleans has to mourn. May her memory be a blessing to all who had the absolute privilege of having the epicurean...

My deepest sympathies to the family.

The Simon Family extends our condolences to the Pichon Family on the loss of your matriarch. Ours prayers are with you.
