Dear Uncle Stas & family,
It is very sad to hear about Aunt Bertha. I was fortunate to be living right next door, while I was growing up. I will always remember her, & she will be forever in my heart. We are so saddened to hear of Aunt Bertha's passing. Aunt Bertha was always one of my favorites -- such a spitfire, and one the kindest human beings I have ever known. She was always willing to tell a story when I asked about the "old days," always willing to have you come in for a cup of coffee and visit on the rare occasions when we visited Buffalo in the summertime, and always wore a smile ... a beautiful smile. Aunt Bertha was a beautiful lady both inside and out. We are surely blessed to have had her in our lives. So sorry that a medical situation keeps us from being with you at this sad time.

Reading the Buffalo News online I came across your Mom's death notice. Please accept our deepest sympathy. Although we are mile away you are in our thoughts.
