Read MoreI was sad to see this news about Bertha. I worked with Bertha at Foodarama over 45 years ago. I have very fond memories of her and what a great cook she was. She was very kind and dear friend to a high school kid who lost his girlfriend. I could always count on a smile and an encouraging word. After 45 years she has a lasting memory in my heart. So sorry for your loss bertha ann was a great person. my mom mary said to tell joe and the kids that she was so sorry to hear about her passing. She talked to her all the time my mom wanted to come to the funeral but she was not able to make the trip. Love you all

We have never had a neighbor that has become a family member as Bertha Short and her family we send our condolences to the family. We loved the good times that we had with them and with Bertha. She will be missed greatly in our hearts. I will miss all the good times we had together and she will always be in my heart and my mind. I love you Bertha.
