I was sorry to read of the death of your mother in The Patriot News. A mother is a very special person in ones life. I lost my mother 2 years ago at the age of 96 and still wish I could talk to her.

My love, respect and appreciation for all that Bertha represented during her lifetime is unconditional. I was privileged to know her presonally and to interact with her during her years of service as a staff member/leader of the Pennsylvania Department of Education. Bertha will be followed but she will never be replaced. I remain forever her friend, Stanley Wills, PSEA Staff member 1965-1996.
