I loved Bertha! She always made me feel welcome and happy in her home. This year we made her famous Artichoke Pickle with artichokes that Robbie had grown. It took 2 days but was worth the effort. I think of her and Auntie Mary whenever we eat it. Bertha had a well lived life!
