Bertha was born on February 7, 1927 and passed away in April 2016. Bertha was a resident of McKean, Pennsylvania at the time of her passing. Friends may call at Van Matre Funeral Home 105 Walnut Street Waterford on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. and may attend funeral services Thursday morning at 10:00 a.m. Officiating will be Pastor Gregory Jack. Interment will follow at Phillipsville Union Cemetery.
I remember many happy hours as we grew up as kids in Phillipsville, Pa. We were cousins and we always called her Berthie. I wish to express my sympathy to Carol Ann and family.
